If you’re looking to get a closer experience and learn the ins and outs of hot air balloons, serving on a chase team might be perfect for you! Chase team volunteers are a valuable asset to our pilots and the success of the event!

Here is some information to keep in mind if interested in serving on a chase team:

• Chase team members under the age of 18 must have an adult signed up and volunteering with him/her
• Your pilot may require an additional waiver to be signed at the time of flight
• As a volunteer on a chase team, you must agree to abide by all applicable rules, regulations and guidelines as provided by the staff of the Flag City BalloonFest
• Serving on a chase team requires a separate registration form

501(c)(3) organizations serving the Findlay or Greater Hancock County can apply for a booth in the Flag City BalloonFest’s Event Tent during the festival on Friday, Aug. 9 and Saturday, Aug. 10. It is $50 and each organization will be provided with one 8′ table and two chairs under the tent (lighting in the tent will be provided).

2024 Flag City Balloonfest Non profit vendor contract

To be eligible as a Food Vendor at the Flag City BalloonFest, the vendor must submit a completed vendor contract, certificate of insurance, sample menu, agree to all terms, and return to the Food Vendor Chairman. Vendors must also agree to abide by all Health/Fire rules and regulations. The fire marshal and health inspector will inspect vendors for proper extinguishing equipment and health regulations before vendors are able to open for sales.
