Food Vendor Application & Electrical form

To:  Prospective Food Vendors for FLAG CITY BALLOON FEST 11TH ANNIVERSARY 

Plans for this summer’s Flag City Balloon Fest are flying high and we invite you to be a part of the excitement August 13, 2010 through August 15, 2010 @  Emory Adams Community Park-Findlay!  

This year we have lengthened the event to include a full activities schedule for Sunday.  The hours of operation will be 4:00-10:00 p.m. Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, & 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday.  Activities during the event will include two mass launches at 6:15 p.m. (one Friday & one Saturday), two Hot Air Balloon glows at 8:30 p.m. (one Friday & one Saturday); a 5 K run, and various other air & flight demonstrations and activities, a classic car show, Boy Scout activities and much more. 

The fee schedule to participate at the Flag City Balloon Fest 2010 is $375.00 plus 10% of gross receipts will be collected for charity.  Random auditing will assure compliance.  All charity donations are for 503- (C) (3) charities and are tax deductible.  All vendors will be in the central area of the park.  We will accommodate fifteen to twenty-one, (15-21) vendors for this year’s event.  Positions will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a June 1, 2010 deadline.   

Please read over the enclosed information carefully.  Then, complete and sign the application and electrical needs request form, provide proof of insurance, send along with full payment of $375.00, a $50.00 refundable clean-up fee and mail to:

There will be NO refund on deposits made, if notified after July 1, 2010.  A 50% refund will be returned if notified prior to July 1st. 

Space is limited, and site will be granted first come, first served, for all applications received by June 1, 2010; therefore, your prompt reply to Flag City Balloon Fest 2010 will be greatly appreciated.  The application is only complete when the application, electrical form, proof of insurance and check(s) are received.  You will receive confirmation and a site number once approved and all requirements are met.
